Louise Fay Wheeler, 84, of Pigeon Forge, TN and formerly of West Mansfield, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Select Specialty Services, North Knoxville Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born April 9, 1933 in Little Blaine, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Monie (Howard) Pack. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Allen Hannah; a grandson, Jon Hannah; a sister, Mary Howard and a brother, Ken Pack.

On August 30, 1989 in West Mansfield, she married Ernie Wheeler and he survives in Pigeon Forge, TN. Also surviving are her children, Robert Keith (Bo) DeWitt of Mechanicsburg, Richard Gene (Dixie) DeWitt of Byhalia, Tony Ray (Tronia) Hannah of West Mansfield, Monie Lisa (Duane) Coleman of East Liberty, Jim (Teresa) DeWitt of West Mansfield; dear friends, Ruby (Steve) Reames and her faithful dog, Ralphie;  step children, Debbie (Will) Thompson of Dunkirk, Karen (Jerry) Graham of Rawson, Jenni (Rusty) Rausch of Marysville and John Wheeler of Marion; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Nancy) Pack and Roy (Minnie) Pack both of Mechanicsburg; a sister-in-law, Karen (Fred) Kellogg of Caledonia and many nieces and nephews.

A devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Louise was a wonderful homemaker. She loved tending to her flowers, boating, fishing, camping and shopping but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She loved animals and often supported the Humane Societies. She also loved traveling to the Smoky Mountains, so much so that she and Ernie would eventually move there to call them home. A woman of deep faith, she enjoyed attending the Woodstock Freewill Baptist Church where she was a member.

Friends may call from 12:00-3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield where services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday. Pastor Ken Cordell will officiate and burial will follow at the Hathaway Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
