Donald B. Worstell, 79, 0f Marysville, died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by his loving family.

He worked at Vincent Graphics in Dublin for 26 years, was a printer at Scott’s for 7 years and also drove truck for the Treaty Company, Leeway Transportation and Schlairet Transfer. Don also served in the Ohio National Guard from 1955-1963 and was a former member of the Marysville First Congregation Church of Christ. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking, doing lawn work and watching football.

Born May 18, 1938 in Marysville, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Lucrettia (Woodworth) Worstell. On February 10, 1968 in Marysville, he married his wife of nearly 40 years, Betty Jean (Bolenbaugh) and she preceded him in death in 2007. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Clingerman and Marilyn Beightler and his brothers, Max and Richard “Dick” Worstell.

Surviving are his children, Rusty (Michelle) Worstell of Lebanon, TN, Sandy (Jeff) Garey of Marysville and Don (Kelly) Worstell of Prospect; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kellie) Worstell, Mallory Worstell, William (Caileen) Lane, Lindsay (Jeremy) Cox, Amanda ( Rob) Lucas, Tyler Worstell, Michael (Christy) Garey and Melissa (Dale) Banfield; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert E. “Gene” (Francis) Worstell of Marysville and James E. (Patricia) Worstell of North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 22, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Reverend Roy Burton will officiate. Burial will take place next to his wife in the Oakdale Cemetery where Military Rites will be observed by the Union County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
