Karen Sue Miller, 66, of Marysville, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

A kind and loving person, Sue was quite known for her giving nature. It was most evident in her love for children, especially those she babysat over the years. It was not uncommon for her to spend many days shopping and at garage sales to make sure they all had any type of clothing they needed. She collected dolls and Mickey and Minnie Mouse items, and loved watching her favorite movie, “Shirley Temple.” To say that she was an avid Bingo player would be putting it mildly, as the many family and friends she played with would attest.

Born August 13, 1950 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late William Floyd and Martha Jane (LeVan) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, David Miller; a brother, Ronnie Miller; half -brothers, Tom (Sharon) Miller, Paul (Marilyn) Miller, Jim Miller and Ira Miller.

Surviving is her son, Robert “Bobby” Miller of Marysville; a sister, Kathy (Randy) Tootle of Columbus and her close friend and companion, Don Wooten; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

No calling hours will be held and graveside services will take place at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the Plumwood Cemetery, Madison County. Her nephew, Jeremy Dowler will officiate. Arrangements for the family were handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home.
